Trafopui in combination with facade cladding for Leiden University of Applied Sciences

When expanding a school building - and the associated new construction - you are faced with various issues. For example, what do you do with the external transformer space and installations? Construction company Huurman Leiden, general contractor for Leiden University of Applied Sciences, built an indoor transformer room for this purpose. JAZO was called in early in the process to help think about the shielding of the indoor transformer room.

Our method

Because we were involved in the project at an early stage, we were able to think about the best possible solution from the start. After we had drawn up a quotation and received the assignment, we made a clear plan and put the agreements made on paper. Based on this we could get started!

The solution

A transformer had to be moved from a compact station outside to an indoor space inside. After measuring on location, we made a custom transformer facade. This transformer facade is constructed with safety ventilation grilles type HS 50 and non-ventilating parts in the form of High Design JAZO facade cladding type HD 50. In this way we prepared the transformer space for use for the coming years!

Satisfied customer

Construction company Huurman Leiden is very satisfied with the collaboration with JAZO. '' I already had a great experience with JAZO and they have confirmed this good feeling again with this project. Although I think the process should be faster, JAZO does what they promise and you get what you ask for.”
