THE NEW SUBSTATION IN ROZENBURG SOUTH

THE NEW SUBSTATION IN ROZENBURG SOUTH

An impressive new substation has been built in the Haarlemmermeer, just below Schiphol, to meet the growing demand for electricity. This project, carried out by K_Dekker on behalf of Reddyn BV, is designed to support both the increase in energy consumption and the production of green energy. At JAZO we are proud to play a role as a partner in this beautiful project.

The new substation, with space for five 20 kV installations and six 150/20 kV power transformers, is larger and more comprehensive than a 'regular' substation. Both the construction and the capacity it will soon have. JAZO provided the shielding, access and ventilation for this project on behalf of K Dekker.

OUR CONTRIBUTION

We produced and installed a total of 23 doors. Five robust aluminum double doors have been installed at the front of the building, each equipped with WK-2 burglar-resistant features. Explosion panels with burglar-resistant cassettes have been placed above these doors, which provides an extra layer of security. We also installed five aluminum single doors on the same side.

The other side of the building is equipped with twelve aluminum single doors, specially designed with omega profiles and extra long hinges. These innovative features make it possible for the customer to add their own cladding, so that the doors fit seamlessly with the rest of the building and contribute to a harmonious whole.

On the south-west side we have installed an aluminum single door with an integrated side grille. This side grille, type HS-27R, provides optimal ventilation with a net passage of 1,840 cm² and is equipped with a burglar-resistant cassette, which once again strengthens the security of the substation.
